About me
Hi, I'm Thea, a 27 year old game programmer, system developer, gamer, LARPer and miniature painter, among many other things. I've always had a very analytical, curious and creative mind and since I grew up playing games during most of my free time, that naturally made me want to know how games worked under the hood so that I could make them myself.
I've been programming on and off since I was about 15 years old. I started out making games in high school, and on the side made some minor software used in the LARP association I was a part of in my free time. After high school I pivoted toward software development, graduating from the University of Borås with a bachelor's degree in software development. I then worked as a software developer for three years before finally getting back on track toward game development through my studies at The Game Assembly. Now I'm seeking a 30 week internship in the game industry as part of those studies.
I like every aspect of game programming, but my favorite is gameplay and systems programming close to the user experience, with a splash of graphics and UI programming on the side.

I am part of The Game Assembly’s internship program. As per the agreement between the Game Industry and The Game Assembly, neither student nor company may be in contact with one another regarding internships before April 23rd. Any internship offers can be made on May 5th, at the earliest.
