About me

Hi, I'm Thea, a 27 year old game programmer, system developer, gamer, LARPer and miniature painter, among many other things. I've always had a very analytical, curious and creative mind and since I grew up playing games during most of my free time, that naturally made me want to know how games worked under the hood so that I could make them myself.

I've been programming on and off since I was about 15 years old. I started out making games in high school, and on the side made some minor software used in the LARP association I was a part of in my free time. After high school I pivoted toward software development, graduating from the University of BorĂ¥s with a bachelor's degree in software development. I then worked as a software developer for three years before finally getting back on track toward game development through my studies at The Game Assembly.

I like every aspect of game programming, but my favorite is gameplay and systems programming close to the user experience, with a splash of graphics and UI programming on the side.
